rename filmic to "colormanagement" and place in this datafiles folder. create the "datafiles" folder if it's not already there.in Finder press + and go to "~/Library/Application Support/Blender/".The files in the USER folder override the LOCAL blender files(in blender.app/Contents/Resources/.). However in my tests the SYSTEM files only kick in as backups instead of as overrides.īlender reads the datafiles folder in this order: LOCAL, USER, SYSTEM. There is also the "SYSTEM" configuration directory which should setup filmic for everyone. This can be done by placing filmic in Blender's platform-dependent USER configuration directory. The "by-design" way of loading user content, in this case, is to override the default colormanagement. Here is another PER-USER method to activate filmic:
